Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, fellowship time at 10:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Monday: Kids Club, 6-7:15 p.m.
Tuesday: Ladies Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.
Wednesday: Prayer meeting, 7 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St. holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Claudio Ruba. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; Contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; Children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; Fellowship following service.

Trinity Highlights
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., with Holy Communion is at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free communion wafers are available for those with allergy issues. Included during worship will be the Rite of Confirmation for two young people following completion of catechetical instruction. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Sunday church school classes for students age 3 through sixth grade begin at 10:45 a.m. “Last Sundae” activities are coming up next Sunday before the summer break begins. Mark your calendars for “Splash Canyon: God’s Promise on Life’s Wild Ride” Vacation Bible School, Aug. 6-10.

Congratulations are extended to Trinity’s former intern Lauren Heywood and current Vicar Richard Bergen as they each receive Master of Divinity degrees from United Lutheran Seminary of Gettysburg and Philadelphia on Friday.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 meets in the youth room from 5-7 p.m. Sunday for supper, Bible study and games. This will be the last session before the summer break begins. Vicar Rich Bergen is the adviser.
