Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class; fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Cancer support group
Christ Evangelical Free Church is holding a cancer support group for those in treatment, survivors and caregivers at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, 2420 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive West, Lehighton.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.
Communion: Last Sunday of the month.
Trinity highlights
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St, begins at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade start at 10:45 a.m. The final day for classes before summer break is June 2.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 meets from 5-7 p.m. Sunday with a meal, Bible study with discussion and games. The final gathering for the season is June 9 as a “game night.” Vicar Rich is the adviser.
A Bible study on the book of Ruth, being led by Vicar Rich, concludes at 6:30 p.m. May 29.
Recognition of high school graduates and all institutions of higher learning will be observed during June 2 worship. Please contact the church office with your name before the end of the month to be included in this milestone event.
