Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class; fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir rehearsal, 7 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.

Jacob’s UCC
Jacob’s UCC, Weissport, will hold its Vacation Bible School Jacob’s Farm, 6:30-8:00 p.m. July 28 to Aug. 1. For ages 3 through 12. Please register by July 19 either by calling the church office at 610-377-1188 or Pastor Eunice at 610-349-7185.
Trinity happenings
First Saturday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., is at 5 p.m. Sunday worship with Holy Communion begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available to those with allergy issues. Recognition of graduates from high school and institutions of higher learning will be observed. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship is at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade starts at 10:45 a.m. “Final sundae” activities will take place. Church school classes will be on a summer break, resuming Sept. 8. In the meantime, mark you calendar for Vacation Bible School, Aug. 5-9, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The theme is “Who’s Your Neighbor?”
First Tuesday Quiet Communion is at 10 a.m. June 4.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 meets for the final gathering for the season at 5 p.m. June 9 as a “game night.” Vicar Rich is the adviser.
Plans are underway for a family-friendly Father’s Day cookout from 4-6 p.m. June 15. The deadline to register for this free event is June 9.
Do you love to sew or want to learn? Attention to youth grades 5 and up to attend a sewing group to complete a service project. Sessions will be 10 a.m. to noon July 9, 16, 23, 30 in the youth room. Register by contacting the church office before July 7.
