Trinity happenings
First Saturday worship with Holy Communion and baptism at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., is at 5 p.m. Sunday worship with Holy Communion begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free communion wafers are available for those with allergy issues. During the worship, prayers of remembrance will be said for members of the congregation who have died in the past year. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Sunday church school classes for students age 3 through sixth grade begin at 10:45 a.m.
First Tuesday quiet communion is at 10 a.m. Nov. 7.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 will gather Nov. 5 and 19 in the youth room from 5-7 p.m. There will be supper, Bible study and information on upcoming activities. “Thunder and Lightning” youth group for students in grades 4-6 will gather 5-7 p.m. Nov. 29 in the youth room with a similar format. Vicar Rich Bergen is the director.
For those desiring to arrange a baptismal date, Pastor Moore will share information at 1 p.m. Nov. 19. For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will provide information at 1 p.m. Nov. 26. Please contact the church office at 610-377-4303 in advance to register.
Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Evening worship, 7 p.m., fellowship hall.
Monday: Kids Club, 6-7:15 p.m. each Monday.
Tuesday: Ladies Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.
Wednesday: Revelation Bible study, 6 p.m.; prayer meeting, 7 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.
Friday: Wrapped in Prayer Ministry.
