Trinity happenings
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., with Holy Communion is at 9:30 a.m. Included will be a celebration observance of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Gluten-free communion wafers are available for those with allergy issues. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Rich Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Sunday church school classes for students age 3 through sixth grade begin at 10:45 a.m.
For those desiring to arrange a baptismal date, Pastor Moore will share information at 1 p.m. Nov. 19. For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will provide information at 1 p.m. Nov. 26. Please contact the church office at 610-377-4303 in advance to register.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mahoning, 826 Mahoning Drive W. Lehighton
Halloween Party: Saturday 6-8 p.m. at Yenser’s Tree Farm, 1910 Mahoning Drive E. Sponsored by St. John’s Church. All ages welcome. Corn maze by flashlight, hayrides, pumpkin painting, fire pit with s’mores. Food served 6-7 p.m. Bring a dessert if you can. Costumes welcome!
Junior Choir: Practice will be held at 6 p.m. Monday.
Sanctuary Choir: Practice will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Worship Service: Reformation Sunday, 9 a.m. Holy Communion and Confirmation during worship service.

Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Evening worship, 7 p.m., fellowship hall.
Monday: Kids club, 6-7:15 p.m. each Monday.
Tuesday: Ladies Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.
Wednesday: Revelation Bible study, 6 p.m.; prayer meeting, 7 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.
