Bethany EC Church

Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday rally day worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy Ream, pastor.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages; fellowship time 10:15-10:45 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Don’t forget daylight saving time ends Sunday Nov. 3.

Wednesday: Youth group, 6 p.m. at church; prayer meeting, 7 p.m.

Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, Blakeslee Boulevard, Lehighton 5 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church

Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.

Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.

Midweek Bible study: Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Currently studying the book of Revelation.

Men’s fellowship breakfast: First Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m.

Women’s fellowship breakfast: Third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m.

Trinity highlights

First Saturday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., is at 5 p.m. Sunday worship with Holy Communion begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available for those with allergy issues. A remembrance of All Saints will be observed at both worship services, including the names of deceased members since last year read aloud, a candle lit, and a solitary bell rung. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Joshua Krenz assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

People are invited to bring in photos of loved ones who have died. Please label the photo identifying the person in the photo and owner of the photo. There will be table displaying the photographs as a visible reminder of the saints who have enriched us.

Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade begins at 10:45 a.m.

First Tuesday Quiet Communion is at 10 a.m. Nov. 5.

Students in grades 5-12 are invited to participate in food, conversation and youth group activities from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the second floor youth room. November’s schedule includes gatherings at 5 p.m. each Sunday. Vicar Joshua Krenz is the youth adviser.

For those desiring to arrange a baptismal date, Pastor Moore will share information at 1 p.m. Nov. 17. Pastor Moore will share information for those desiring to seek membership at Trinity at 1 p.m. Nov. 24. Please contact the church office in advance at 610-377-4303 to register.
