Trinity highlights

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. “Harvest Home” will be observed. This is a time set aside in the fall for thankfulness for the bounties of the harvest. A donation of a nonperishable food item (such as canned fruit, tuna, jelly, pasta) is requested. All food items received will be distributed from the pantry throughout the community. Vicar Joshua Krenz assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade begins at 10:45 a.m.

Students in grades 5-12 are invited to attend a youth group meeting from 5-7 p.m. on Sept. 22 and Sept. 29 in the youth room for Bible study and activities. Vicar Joshua Krenz is the youth adviser.

Blessing of the Animals is at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in the church parking lot. Please have your pets leashed and crated, and be prepared to clean up after your pet. The ceremony coincides with the remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi, for his love of all creatures.

Members of Trinity will be participating in the CROP Walk at Lehigh Canal Park in Weissport on Oct. 13. Registration is at 1 p.m. and the walk starts at 2 p.m. The course is 1 to 4 miles. Contact the church office for more information on registration. Each walker needs a sponsorship envelope to secure donations. Form a team family, friends, co-workers; open to anyone in the community. This is a great opportunity to walk your dog. Money received benefits Trinity Food Pantry (25%), and Church World Services (75%) for relief and development programs. Last-minute walk-ins are welcome to participate.

Appointments are available with Pastor Moore for those desiring to seek membership or arrange a baptismal date at Trinity. Please contact the church office in advance at 610-377-4303 to register.
