Lehighton state police
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the following incidents.
• A criminal mischief incident was reported at 3:10 p.m. Saturday. The victim is a 53-year-old man from Gilbert, who said the incident happened at a property along Elsie Lane, Polk Township.
• Police are investigating a case of trespassing in Polk Township. The incident happened at 5:03 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 200 block of Upper Greenhill Road in the township. The victim is a woman from Edison, New Jersey. Police said a teenage boy gained access to and entered the victim’s garage. No items were taken from the property.
• A 23-year-old Kunkletown woman suffered a broken collarbone in an assault incident that state police were summoned to investigate at 8 a.m. Feb. 19. Police charged a 23-year-old Kunkletown man with aggravated assault and other crimes as a result of the investigation and was taken into custody. The woman reported that the assault took place earlier in the day.
