Lehighton state police
Lehighton state police reported on the following incidents.
• A simple assault on June 8 in Chestnuthill Township required the services of state police. The incident happened on Lower Mountain Drive when two women were assaulted by another woman.
• State police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 1:30 and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Evergreen Court, Ross Township. The victim, a 46-year-old man from Saylorsburg, reported someone “keyed” his vehicle.
• State police said a Kunkletown man was cited for harassment after an incident at 8 p.m. June 4 in the 100 block of Edgewood Lane in Polk Township. Police did not release the suspect’s name. The victim is a woman from Kunkletown. Police said it is alleged the man grabbed the victim’s arm during an argument
• A Polk Township couple are the victims of an access device fraud theft case. Police said the man, 52, and woman, 50, of the 100 block of Scheller Hill Road, reported an unidentified person used their bank debit card information to make four online purchases between 11:16 p.m. June 1 and 2:12 p.m. June 5.
• A man reported his wife removed a dresser from a residence in East Penn Township, resulting in state police labeling the incident a burglary. The incident happened between noon and 1:40 p.m. June 7 in the 900 block of East Lizard Creek Road. Police said the 56-year-old man reported his wife removed the dresser and other items from the residence.
• State police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 10:30 p.m. June 8 and 8 a.m. June 9 in Polk Township. The victims, a man, 62, and woman, 59, from Middletown Township, Bucks County, reported someone damaged a decorative sign hanging on a metal post that was located in the front yard of a home they own in the 200 block of Windy Hill Road in the township.
• State police said they were summoned to the Pleasant Valley Elementary School, 476 Polk Township Road, Polk Township, on June 6 at noon after two youths were involved in a fight there. Police said the 11-year-old boys, both from Chestnuthill Township, were involved in the incident. Police said the investigation is closed and no criminal charges were filed.
