Lehighton state police

State police at Lehighton reported investigating the following incidents:

• An unoccupied residence along Fireline Road in Bowmanstown was entered and removed was a Taurus 738 TCP handgun, a Savage Arms Stevens 320 shotgun, a Nintendo Wii video game system and $8 in mixed U.S. coins. Total value of the missing items was estimated at $475. The victims are a 32-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man from Palmerton.

• Troopers responded to West Lizard Creek Road in East Penn Township around 2 p.m. Wednesday for a report of damage to a vehicle. As a result Kody Beil, 25, of Palmerton, has been charged with criminal mischief. The victim is a 52-year-old man from Lehighton.
