Lehighton State Police investigate incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers.

• Troopers said a residence along Church Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, was entered and removed was a hot water heater, copper plumbing and a stove. The home is owned by Resi Pro. Total estimated value of the missing items was $4,500.

• A 38-year-old woman from Penn Drive, Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported she is receiving harassing text messages. The investigation is continuing.

• A 29-year-old woman from Forest Inn Road, Towamensing Township, reported someone had entered her home through the front door while she was away. Nothing was apparently taken. The incident occurred sometime between Aug. 7 and 9.
