Lehighton and Tamaqua recorded victories in wrestling action on Wednesday.
In girls basketball action, Jim Thorpe stayed hot with a win over Panther Valley.

Pleasant Valley-PM West
Pocono Mountain West defeated Pleasant Valley, 56-46, in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference game.
Matt Campbell had 14 points to lead the Panthers. Lawson Bray and Christian Fermin added 12 points apiece.
For the Bears, Noah Mitchell’s 17 points and Marcus Arce’s 14 led the way.

Jim Thorpe ran out to an early lead and never looked back as it defeated Panther Valley 73-31 in a Schuylkill League game.
Leading the Olympians was Leila Hurley, who poured in a game-high 28 points, including five three-pointers. Teammates Skyler Searfoss had 13 points and Olivia Smelas added 10.
Erika Dubosky led the Panthers with 15 points.

Pocono Mountain West got hot in the second half to upend Pleasant Valley in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference match-up, 59-56.
Behind the scoring of Aiyanalee Owens and Taliyah Malone, 17 and 16 points, respectively, the Panthers outscored the hosts 40-28 in the second half.
The Bears’ Cameron Caffrey led all scorers with 19 points, while Riley Wagner added 13.
