Lewistown Valley Garden Club meets
The June meeting of the Lewistown Valley Garden club was held June 25. The program was presented by Margitta Stevens, Lotions by Margitta. The arrangements judged were roses, which included a strand of pearls. The winners were: First place, Carol Kohn; second, Evelyn Adams; and third, Ann Fedor.
The next meeting will be the family picnic at Leiby’s Grove at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. For more information, call Judy at 570-386-4783 or Louise at 570-467-3400.
Regular meetings are held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Zion Church social hall, Lewistown Valley. New members are always welcome.
Floral entries for the Schuylkill County Fair are to at the Schuylkill Fairgrounds between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.
