The Weatherly boys basketball team closed out the regular season with a win over MMI Prep on Monday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

MMI Prep-Weatherly

Scotty Zoscin poured in a game-high 32 points to lead Weatherly to a 72-58 non-league victory over MMI Prep in its regular season finale.

Zoscin tallied 13 points in the second quarter when the Wreckers (10-12) outscored their guests by a 20-10 margin to take a double-digit lead.

Antonio Colecio contributed 13 points to the win, while Trevor Lowman chipped in with nine.

MMI earned a 58-46 victory in the JV game.

Matthew Latshaw (145) and Dillon Johns (160) both had pins for Upper Dauphin.

Ryan Vecolitis also contributed 10 points.

Tamaqua-Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe edged Tamaqua by a 38-36 score.

The Blue Raiders’ Steven Hoffman led all scorers with 13 points, while DiSanto was high man for Thorpe with 11.

Weatherly-Mahanoy Area

Mahanoy Area posted a 61-26 victory over Weatherly.

Tanner Hinkle had 10 points for the Wreckers, while Jack James added seven.

Mahanoy Area cruised to a 43-1 win over Weatherly.
