Pleasant Valley-PM East
A three-run fourth inning was all Pleasant Valley needed to post a 3-1 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference victory over Pocono Mountain East.
Trevor Knappenberger led the Bears (2-0) with two singles and a run scored, while Matt Burnett chipped in with two singles.
Dan McEvoy earned the pitching victory, recording nine strikeouts while allowing two walks.

Williams Valley-Jim Thorpe
Williams Valley cruised to an 11-0 Schuylkill League win over Jim Thorpe.
Noah Snisky and Garrett Holloway had the Olympians’ only hits.
Bryce Herb paced the Vikings with two singles, a run scored and four RBIs.
The loss dropped Jim Thorpe to 0-2.

Pleasant Valley and East Stroudsburg South split their Eastern Pennsylvania Conference track meet.
The PV boys posted an 80-70 victory, while the girls dropped an 88-62 decision.
Evan Fisher-Perez posted a pair of wins (1600, 3200) for the Bears, who gained first place in only six of the 15 individual events, but benefited from 12 second-place finishes.
In the girls meet, Armani Dunkley (200, 400) won a pair of events for PV.

GIRLS LACROSSE
Liberty-Pleasant Valley
Jules Lopez scored six goals to lead Pleasant Valley to a 13-10 win over Liberty.
Lopez added an assist and five ground balls for the Bears, who held a 9-7 halftime lead.
Meghan Hallenbeck and Alexandra Bush both finished with two goals and an assist for the winners, who also received goals from Summer Storm and Brielle McInaw.
PV won the JV game, 7-4.
TENNIS
Liberty-Pleasant Vy.
Liberty remained undefeated by shutting out Pleasant Valley, 6-0, in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference match.
Josh Schaffner won the only set for the Bears, dropping a close match at No. 1 singles — 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.
