The Northwestern boys basketball team earned a win over Catasauqua in overtime.

Northwestern won a Colonial League thriller over Catasauqua in overtime, 76-73.

Deven Bollinger tallied a team-high 28 points to lead the Tigers (3-1; 3-0), while Sam Yadush had 19 and Devin Thomas finished with 10.

Isaiah Graves poured in a game-high 38 points and reached the 1,000-point in his mark for Catasauqua (1-2; 1-1).

Salisbury posted a 53-44 Colonial League win over Northern Lehigh.

For the Falcons, Sarah McGee scored 18 points.

For the Bulldogs’ Jada Saeger poured in a game-high 23 points. No. Lehigh (0-3) also received 12 points from Jill Olewine.

Lehighton cruised to a 72-39 non-league victory over Lincoln Leadership Academy.

Skylynn Faust tallied a game-high 25 points for the Indians, who improved to 3-0, while Aubrey Blasiak finished with 23.

Jim Thorpe-Bentonville

Jim Thorpe’s Payton Kovac scored a game-high 19 points, but the Olympians dropped a 64-48 decision to Bentonville (Arkansas) at a game played in Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports arena.

Kayley Kovac finished with 16 points for Thorpe (2-1), who are playing in the KSA Events’ Holiday Classic Tournament.

The Olympians face Oley Valley today.
