The Northern Lehigh boys and Northwestern girls both earned Colonial League victories in action Friday night.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Palmerton-Northwestern
A balanced attack helped Northwestern roll to a 58-18 Colonial League victory against Palmerton.
Abigail Chisdak and Jessica Williamson scored nine points apiece to lead the Tigers, who didn’t have a player in double figures. Leighanna Lister tallied all eight of her points in the first half as Northwestern built a commanding 33-7 advantage at the intermission.
Linnaea Leister had seven points for the Bombers, while Kayla Cincilla added five.

Panther Valley-Pottsville
Pottsville pulled away from Panther Valley en route to a 63-37 Schuylkill League victory.
Three Tide players — Lexi Plachko, Olivia Eckert and Sadie Comort — each finished with a team-high 10 points.
The Panthers (5-7) received a game-high 17 points from Erika Dubosky, while Christina Dacey and Megan Pascoe both tallied nine. OF PV’s 12 field goals, 10 of them were three-pointers.
In the JV game, Pottsville gained a 59-12 win.

Easton jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 60-31 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference win over Pleasant Valley.
Kyla Smith scored 15 points for the Red Rovers, who led 20-6 after the first quarter. Leanna Deegan added 11 points in the victory.
Cameron Caffrey scored eight points to pace the Bears, while Madison Rosenberg tallied seven points.

Gio Colon scored 13 points for the Bulldogs, while Preston Kemery and Nick Seier added 11 points apiece.
Chris Andrews scored 13 points for the Spartans.
