Panther Valley used a 14-point fourth quarter surge to post a 38-33 non-league win over Columbia Montour AVTS.
Erika Dubosky paced the Panthers with a game-high 18 points.
Kira Young led CMVT with 17 points.
Panther Valley scored a 24-21 win in the JV game. Emiline Markovich and Megan Pascoe both finished with nine points for the Panthers.

The Falcons picked up their first win of the season with a 56-53 Colonial League victory over Palmerton.
The Falcons’ 1,000-point scorer Jack Reichenbach led the way with 24 points. Salisbury improved to 1-9 overall and 1-4 in league play.
Palmerton (4-5 overall; 2-3 CL) was led by Nate Dougherty (16 points), Ryan Yacone (11 points) and Justin Hosier (10 points).

Windsor Christmas Tourney
Four Panther Valley wrestlers placed in the Windsor Christmas Tournament.
Derek Beckham, Aaron Eidem and Tanner Kennedy all earned third-place finishes, while Hunter Kennedy took fourth.
Beckham went 4-1 in the tourney, with all of his victories coming by decision. He defeated Braxton Stout-Moran of Chenango Forks, 8-2, in the third-place bout.
Eidem had an impressive performance, going 5-1, with all five victories coming by way of fall, including in the first period. In the third-place match, he pinned Josh Sutliffe of Phoenix.
Tanner Kennedy went 4-1, picking up two pins and two major decisions. He pinned Mark Mullen SVEC in the third-place bout.
Hunter Kennedy went 3-2. He posted a major decision and two decisions.
Lehighton in
Christmas City Tournament
Lehighton had five wrestlers place in the Tony Iasiello Christmas City Tournament in Bethlehem.
Nate Kemmerer’s third-place finish at 126 pounds led the Indians. Kevin Madea (120) and Brett Gasker (220) added fourth-place finishes for Lehighton, while Chris Whiteman (145) and Richard Fronheiser (160) added fifth-place finishes.
Bethlehem Catholic ran away with the team title, compiling 301 points. East Stroudsburg South was second with 166 points. Lehighton (82.5) placed ninth in the 16-team event.
