Local Track Roundup: Meets from April 12

Pleasant Valley’s track teams gained a split in Eastern Pennsylvania Conference action on Thursday.

Elsewhere, Northern Lehigh was swept in a Colonial League meet.

Easton-Pocono Mountain East-Pleasant Valley

Pleasant Valley split with Easton and Pocono Mountain East in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference meet.

In the boys’ meet, the Bears topped the Cardinals (100-49), but fell to the Red Rovers (99-51).

Nasai Moon (200) and Jon Mickens (800) both had wins for Pleasant Valley.

The Lady Bears also defeated Pocono Mountain East (88-62) and fell to Easton (98-52).

Jade Kautzsch won the long jump and triple jump for Pleasant Valley.

Northern Lehigh was swept by Bangor and Palisades in a Colonial League meet.

The Bulldogs fell to the Pirates (93-53) and Slaters (113-33) on the boys’ side.

In the girls’ meet, Northern Lehigh was edged by Bangor (73-72) and fell to Palisades (107-41).

Jillian Olewine (long jump, triple jump) and Franki Dibilio (discus, shot put) were multiple event winners for the Bulldogs.
