A look back: April 18, 1996

Charles Breidinger of Slatington has been named as this year’s Spirit Award recipient by the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce.

The award recognizes a person for dedicated service to the community. Breidinger has been active for many years in various organizations and programs in the Northern Lehigh area.

He has served as chairman of the chamber’s “Business Challenge” program since its inception and is a past president of the chamber, having served on many of its committees.

Breidinger has also been active with the Slatington Rotary Club and serves on the board of the Citizen’s National Bank, Slatington.
