A look back: April 20, 2001
Three members of the former Beaver Meadows Municipal Authority have been ordered to pay the borough more than $5,500 for unauthorized compensation they received for attending authority members.
The State Ethics Commission ruled the repayment because the three participated in increasing pay for authority members without the borough council’s approval.
Ruth Donald was ordered to pay $2,660; William Hines, $810; and Stephen Delman, $2,410.
Previously, members Mark Moyer and Andrew Rusnock were ordered by the commission to pay back $2,260 and $1,940, respectively.
