A look back: April 7, 1973
The congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton, will dedicate nearly 100 memorial gifts at a special service to be held in conjunction with the dedication of a new $480,000 edifice and enlarged Christian Education facilities.
The gifts include stained glass windows, pews, carpeting, flags, candelabras, pulpit and lectern, bulletin boards, lights, spire, electric bell controls, steeple lighting, Sunday school furnishings, drapes, chairs, communion rail, cross, doors, desks, piano, flower vases and cornerstone.
The Rev. Paul H. Spohn, pastor, will preside at the dedication while the Rev. Fred Blank, assistant to the president of the NE Synod, will preach the sermon.
