The Rev. William T. Mann, pastor of Meeds Memorial Methodist Church, Nesquehoning, announced yesterday a $14,000 repair project is underway in the edifice.
The renovation program includes cleaning, replacing of damaged bricks, waterproofing, replacing shingles on the roof, painting of the woodwork and installation of new doors. A new stoker-boiler will be installed in the basement.
Contractors include Fred Eisenbrand, Baltimore; Charles A. Garber, Tamaqua; and John Cerchiaro and William Griffiths, Nesquehoning.
