The Cipko Computer Center, which enables students at St. Joseph’s Regional Academy in Jim Thorpe, to learn the computer skills so important in today’s world, was dedicated during a ceremony yesterday.

The center, which is located adjacent to the school, opened in September. The modular classroom and the 16 computers it houses were purchased through a $60,000 donation by Catholic school benefactors Ralph and Daniel Cipko.

Each of the 230 students in kindergarten through eighth grade will take computer classes and utilize the center under the guidance of teacher Bonita Moyer.
