A look back: Feb. 25, 1953
A large delegation of farmers of Carbon and Schuylkill counties will board a Lehigh Valley train in Lehighton tomorrow and will attend the 35th annual meeting of the Eastern States Farmers Exchange Cooperative to be held in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Farmers from the area who will attend are John Troxell, Paul Pysarchuk, Elmer Reed, Frank Hart, Donald Miller, Paul Schwartz, Grant Herring, Elmer Maurer, James Shadel, Allen Deiter, Roy Schock, Harry Kunkel, Raymond Gerhard, Paul LeVan, Roscoe Koch, Elwood Stoudt, Marcus Sensinger and Chester Bredbenner.
