A look back: February 8, 1969
At Thursday night’s meeting of the Tamaqua Junior of Commerce in the Elks Club, the following slate of officers was presented by the nominating committee:
President Kenneth Schlentner, internal Vice President Charles Wage, external Vice President Frank Clark, secretary Manuel Filloy and Treasurer Robert Hirsch.
At the same time, the committee nominated John Miorelli and William Fritz to serve as directors of the Junior of Commerce, and Kenneth Lautzenberg was nominated for the position of state director.
Miorelli, state vice president, attended the meeting and reported on state programs.
