A look back: January 24, 1956

Black Diamond Lodge No. 269, Ladies’ Society of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, held installation of officers at its meeting last night in the Eagles’ Hall.

Installed were Margaret McElwaine, president; Ruth Reabold, vice president; Susan Decker, secretary; Anna Albeck, collector; Emily Dunstan, treasurer; Hannah Hontz, conductor; Florence Correll, warden; Christina Martienssen, flag bearer; Mabel Knappenberger, inner guard; Lillie Benninger, outer guard; Edith Sheridan, Mrs. Reabold and Beatrice Parano, board of trustees; and Christine Deats, musician.
