A look back: July 1, 1992

All incumbent officials of the Schuylkill County Republican Party were re-elected unanimously for two-year terms when the party held its biennial convention on Saturday at Schoeneman’s Auditorium in Pottsville.

By 165-0 votes, Michael Kitsock was retained as the party’s chairman, while other officers who will continue in their current capacities include Joseph Tancredi, David B. Crouse and Frank Schoeneman, assistant chairmen; June Gressens and Peggy Zimmerman, vice chairwomen; Phyllis Hesser, secretary; Norman Lettich, treasurer; John E. Jones, finance chairman; and John R. Bilder, executive director.
