A look back: June 15, 1982

Edward C. Beckett graduated recently from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, receiving a doctoral degree in podiatric medicine and was elected as a diplomat of the National Board of Podiatric Examiners.

Beckett will begin serving his residency in podiatric surgery at the Broad Street Medical Center, Philadelphia, and upon completion of that training will become a partner of Dr. Ray Ronemus of Lehighton.

A native of Lehighton and graduate of Lehighton High School and King’s College, Dr. Beckett is a son of Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Edward Beckett Jr., who presently live at Maple Spring Acres, Slatington.
