A look back: June 20, 1974

All board officers of the Coaldale Hospital were re-elected to their posts last night.

The board of trustees will be headed by Charles J. McFadden of Summit Hill, who was elected president of the board for his third one-year term.

Other board officers elected were Margaret Sharpe of Coaldale, vice president; Mrs. Robert Tarlton of Lansford, secretary; and Joseph Gazdick of Nesquehoning, treasurer.

Sharpe and Michael Serina were named by McFadden to serve on the hospital’s joint conference committee.

The board was informed Frank E. Wehr of Summit Hill, hospital administrator, has been named to the Capital Blue Cross Advisory Council.
