A look back: May 15, 1968
William J. McDonald was elected president of the Lansford Lions Club at Monday night’s meeting held in the Edgemont Lodge, Lansford.
Other officers elected were Joseph Arieta, first vice president; William P. Richards, second vice president; John Cipko, third vice president; William Reese, secretary; Michael Porvaznik, treasurer; Joseph Modrick, tail twister; and James Wynn, Lion tamer.
Elected as directors for two-year terms were Michael Hudasky and Harvey Shannon, while George B. Richards and Russel A. Holmes Jr. were elected as directors for one-year terms.
