A look back: May 25, 1993

Eleanor H. Mily of Lehighton will take an all-expenses-paid three-day trip to Denver next month.

The unusual free trek comes to Mily because in Denver she will receive the prestigious Alfred C. Fones Award, a national honor, at the annual session of the American Dental Hygienists Association.

Criteria for the award includes experience in leadership positions in the national hygienists association, awards, honors, appointments, community work, liaison with other allied health professionals, presentations and authorships and education and continuing education.

Mily has served on the Gnaden Huetten and Lehigh County Community College boards.
