A look back: Nov. 30, 1982
The Elks Lodge No. 1337 of Lansford, will eulogize 10 of its members during a memorial service to be conducted by Exalted Ruler Stanley Ptaszkowski.
The speaker will be Rep.-elect Keith McCall, whose father, the late Rep. Thomas McCall, will be among those remembered at the traditional service. Others are Bernard Domenak, Franklin B. Klock, John L. Sharpe, Mario DiMack, George H. Forgay, Donald Huegel, Joseph J. Sroka, Norman Richard Sr. and Dr. Joseph Kupres.
The names of Eugene Duffy, Edward Boyle, E. Leonard Garland, James Wynn, Anthony Wargo, McCall and Domenak — all who passed away in 1981 — will be added to the memorial plaque at the lodge.
