A LOOK BACK NOVEMBER 13, 1962

The Rev. Michael Morris, pastor of St. John’s Greek Catholic Church in Lansford, was honored by the Christ the King District at a meeting held Monday evening in St. Mary’s Greek Catholic Church, Brockton, with Paul Gretsky of Monersville, president, presiding.

Rev. Morris, spiritual director of the district, was honored on the occasion of his 40th anniversary in the priesthood. He was presented a cash gift from the Holy Name Societies and by the Rev. Joseph Jackanich, dean of the Hazleton Diocese on behalf of the district.

Metro Maholick of Lansford and John Keltz of Summit Hill served as delegates at the meeting.
