Harry Wert of Lehighton was elected president of the Carbon County Fire Police during the annual reorganizational meeting held at the Mahoning Valley Fire Company headquarters.
Other officers are Ray Joseph, Jim Thorpe, vice president; the Rev. George P. Fetterolf, Mahoning Valley, recording secretary; Walter Kacicek, Palmerton, treasurer; James Wagner, Lehighton, financial secretary and chaplain; and Charles Becker, Wert, Charles Schoch and Wagner, directors.
Other officers are Marvin Henry, Palmerton, sergeant-at-arms; Dr. Marvin Snyder, Weissport, physician; and William Bayer, Lehighton, solicitor.
