A cross-section of Slatington residents met at the Slatington Junior High School on Thursday afternoon with educational planner David Rossi to provide information and offer concerns about tentative plans for a new secondary education facility.
The group of 30 was the fourth gathering scheduled by the school district. During the hourlong meeting, Rossi asked participants to cite concerns for a new building which would accommodate students from grades 7-12.
Major concerns included the health and safety of district children, maintenance, facilities form special education and location of the future school.
