A look back: Oct. 22, 1986
A “sold” sign may soon appear on the former Summit Hill Manufacturing Company building in Summit Hill.
Arnold Schoenfeld, president of Arnold Realty, New York City, and owner of the 30,000-square-foot building for the past 35 years, said the property has been purchased by the Eagle Buckram Company, New York City.
The building, which has been vacant since the garment factory closed several years ago, extends from the corner of West Ludlow and Market streets, along Market to Market and White streets.
Eagle Buckram manufactures visors for hats, Schoenfeld said.
