A look back: Oct. 3, 1978

Members of the Our Lady of Fatima Sodality of St. Stanislaus Parish, Summit Hill, noted the 25th anniversary of the sodality with a communion breakfast on Sunday at the Summit Hill Rod and Gun Club.

The Rev. Michael Lisowski, pastor and spiritual adviser to the group, offered remarks during the program.

Officers of the organization are Anna Benninger, prefect; Mary Helen Shelton, vice prefect; Dorothy Stanek, treasurer; and Bernadette Lukac, secretary. Benninger was acknowledged for having recently been elected to the presidency of the Panther Valley Daughters of Mary.

The sodality’s purpose is to pay special homage to the Blessed Mother.
