The Times News honored several of its carriers for outstanding service during a program on Saturday.
Senior Carrier of the Year, Tony Jordan of Walnutport, and Junior Carrier of the Year, Jane Valentini of Tamaqua, each received a $50 savings bond from the company.
Runners-up in both divisions each received a $20 cash award. They included Lori Bailey of Lehighton, John Bartelt of Jim Thorpe and Robert Wanuga of Lansford, all in the junior division, and Robert Kanick of Summit Hill, Glenn Hrinkonich of Jim Thorpe and Mike Burawski of Hometown, all in the senior division.
