A look back: Sept. 1, 1984

Carbon County Christian Outreach, in affiliation with Sonlife Full Gospel Fellowship Church and with the technology of satellite communication, is introducing Word of Faith Leadership and Bible Institute to the area.

According to Frank Brunner, Outreach director, the institute is one of a number of basic and advanced satellite training centers which are springing up around the country and the world. Based in Dallas, Texas, Word of Faith is beaming its institute to the many locations in the hope of equipping Christians so that they may reach out to the world.

Participants who complete the 45-credit hour course will receive a certificate of completion in leadership and Bible education, he said.
