Mallard Markets to request liquor license

Mallard Markets in Lehighton hopes to become the next grocery store to sell liquor on its premises.

The business is set to appear before borough council at 7 p.m. Monday to discuss its plan to transfer a liquor license into the borough.

Council will take comments and recommendations from borough residents concerning Mallard’s request.

Why not? Make pot legal and booze more convenient. After all, we don't have an addictions epidemic in America! Keep that southern boarder open too! Party!
