Man, 49, killed in Schuylkill crash
A 49-year-old man was killed in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Schuylkill County.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred at 2:36 a.m. along Route 183 in Wayne Township.
Troopers said a vehicle was driven northbound when the driver lost control due to icy road conditions. The vehicle left the road and hit a drainage culvert and then overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin, troopers said.
