Man charged with sexual assault of girl, 11, in Schuylkill
A 53-year-old Whitehall man is jailed after having been charged with multiple offenses in connection with the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl in Schuylkill County in the past 18-1/2 months.
State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Brian L. Fisher was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Ferrier of Orwigsburg and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, in lieu of $50,000 straight cash bail.
He is charged with three counts of corruption of minors, two counts of aggravated indecent assault and one count each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, indecent assault and indecent exposure.
Police said the incidents happened between Jan. 1, 2017, and July 16, 2018, along Bear Cat Cove in South Manheim Township.
Police said after a thorough and in-depth investigation into the allegations, Fisher was taken into custody on Nov. 29.
