Man charged with threats to neighbors
A Summit Hill man has been charged with threatening his neighbors.
Borough police said on May 29 they were dispatched to the 200 block of East Fell Street for a report of neighbors being threatened.
On scene, officers made contact with the victim and several other witnesses.
The victim said he and Calogero Gallina, 40, of the 200 block of East Fell Street, got into an argument because Gallina was dragging his already injured dog down the front outside stairs of his residence. Gallina, the victim said, came up to him with his fists clenched while screaming threats.
Gallina then turned toward his residence and said he was going to shoot the victim.
At this point one of the witnesses called 911.
Gallina continued to tell the victim that he was going to shoot and kill him.
This was recorded by the victim’s wife on her cellphone, police said.
Gallina was taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats and harassment.
