Man charged with trespass, disorderly conduct, threats
State police at the Hazleton barracks have arrested Jonathan B. King, 30, of Hazleton, on a number of charges relating to an incident at 1:48 a.m. Nov. 18 in Tresckow.
He is charged with two counts of criminal trespass and one count each of loitering/prowling at night, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Police said they were summoned to the first block of Oak Street to investigate an attempted burglary and upon arrival found King walking away from the residence.
After taking him into custody, police learned King attempted to contact an ex-romantic partner, even though the victim repeatedly told King she wanted to break off their relationship.
Police said King was banging on the door and peeking through windows of the residence. Police said he pushed his way into the home and threatened the woman and her two children before she was able to forcefully push him out the door and lock it.
He was unable to post $50,000 bail and was taken to the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
