Man killed in Ryan crash
A 30-year-old man was killed Sunday evening in a crash along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township. The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. as he was traveling south near the 125 mile marker just north of Frackville.
The vehicle entered the left berm striking a set of guardrails continuing on between the rails and the tree line in a brush area. The unit came to rest on its wheels, with the driver being ejected.
The victim was treated at the scene before being flown by Medevac to a trauma center. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
