STATE COLLEGE (AP) — Authorities say a man was killed while cutting down trees for firewood in central Pennsylvania.

State police in Centre County say the man was cutting trees in Penn Township when a tree fell on him at about 7 p.m. Friday.

Coroner Scott Sayers identified the man as 81-year-old Dale Musser and said his family went to check on him and found him unresponsive.

Sayers said Musser died of blunt force trauma and ruled the death accidental.

This man still had the balls to do actual work! Try and find that in today's welfare access card world. My condolences.
Read his Obituary (Spring Mills, PA). There aren't many men like this around. If I make it to 81 and they can say I did half the stuff he did in my Obituary I'll consider myself a success. Dale was a SAVAGE. He died with his boots on. Not in some convalescent home or hospital bed.

Good for you Dale.
