READING (AP) — A Pennsylvania man who admitted to assaulting a clerk at an adult gift store has been ordered to spend 11½ to 23 months in prison.

The Reading Eagle reports that 54-year-old Santos Iraola, of Muhlenberg Township, was sentenced Monday in Reading after pleading guilty to aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and theft.

Prosecutors said Iraola, dressed only in a robe and boots, beat a clerk at Cupid’s Arcade in Kutztown last year. Prosecutors say police were able to track him down because he left his wallet in the store.

Asked by the Berks County judge to explain his actions, Iraola said he had stopped taking his medication. He was also ordered to pay more than $3,500 in restitution for damages to the store.
