Man sentenced in underage sex assault case

A Lansford man was sentenced to state prison Dec. 19 for having sexual contact with minors in 2018.

Daniel David Miller Jr. was one of several defendants sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass Thursday morning.

Miller, 24, of Lansford, received a 16-60 month prison sentence on a charge of corruption of minors, with credit for time served. Lehighton Police arrested him in November 2018 after he allegedly had sex with at least two girls.

He also received a 36-72 month prison sentence on a charge of aggravated indecent assault of a person under 16, with credit for time served. The judge also ordered him to have no contact with his victims, or any unsupervised contact with minors. He will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s law.
