Man sought for domestic assault

A Monroe County man is being sought for a domestic assault incident.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers were dispatched to a residence on Country Place Drive, Tobyhanna, around 3 a.m. on Wednesday for a reported domestic assault. On scene officers spoke with the victim, who said her boyfriend had assaulted her. Police said they observed injuries to the woman consistent with her story.

The suspect was identified as Randolph McCoy, 41, of the same address. Police were unable to make contact with him. A warrant will be secured for his arrest charging him with simple assault and harassment, police said.
